products I regret buying + giveaway winner

Don't we all hate wasting money on beauty products which actually don't really work for us? I managed to purchase few beauty products, which are just not good enough for me.

The Body Shop Spa Fit bought this on a whimp in Body Shop Outlet. Although my cellulite is not that visible, I still tend to test out products, which helps to reduce the appearance of cellulite. The Body Shop Spa Fit had an interesting massaging head and scent. Whilst in shower, you should apply some of the cream onto your tights and use the massaging head. Sadly straight after using this, I kept on having really red tight, even with out using the massaging head, guess my skin didn't tolerate one of the ingredient.
Max Factor Miracle Touch Foundation a unique lightweight solid to liquid formula, it's has light to medium coverage.  This foundation have looked amazing on my friend skin, sadly it did not work for me! It did not last long on the skin, the shade was perfect.
Topshop Highlighter light reflecting cream highlighter to sculpt, define and enhance the skin. I loved it swatch on the hand, as it was really glowy, but once you apply it on your face, the entire glow disappears.
NYX Lingerie Liquid Lipstick a matte liquid lipsticks. Sadly it dries out my lips so badly! The shade is beautiful, but the formula is extremely drying.
Origins Smoothing Body Oil sold for the scent, sadly the scent does not last longer than an hour on the skin, but it does keep your skin moisturised. Contains non-oily Jojoba Oil, know for its hydrating and skin-softening benefits. Great for exposed legs, back and shoulders.
GlamGlow Dual Cleanse Treatment a mud-to-oil formula that delivers a deep pore cleansing action without over-drying or uncomfortable tightness. Personally I don't get on with Glam Glow facial masks, they give my skin very uncomfortable feeling.  It did not do anything good to my skin,

Thank you so much for all the giveaway entries, the winner is Claire Blaney, congratulation!

empties: february 2017

Do you also feel satisfied whenever you finish up a beauty product? I tend to feel so excited every time I use something up, purely because I then can buy something new to try out. Let's get on with the post.

Sukin Cleansing Gel blended with a complexion-boosting mix of green tea, soothing chamomile, cucumber and avocado oil, the Sukin Sensitive Cleansing Gel perfectly purifies and cleanses sensitive skin. Sadly this cleanser was really drying, it is gentle, but drying. The cleansing gel does remove make-up really well, although I would not recommend using it near the eyes.

No7 Make-Up Brush Cleanser This product is a quick fix when you don't have time to soak your brushes. Spray a paper towel or tissue with cleanser before sweeping brush bristles across the damp cloth. It's quick fix for brush cleansing.
Toni & Guy Volume Dry Shampoo the oil absorbing formula helps boost volume from root to tip for over the top hairstyles. Smells really nice, and gives the hair lots of volume.
Glam Glow Dual Cleanse Treatment a mud-to-oil formula that delivers a deep pore cleansing action without over-drying or uncomfortable tightness. Personally I don't get on with Glam Glow facial masks, they give my skin very uncomfortable feeling.  They are also so expensive!
Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream* a light but intensive hydrating cream ideal for normal to dry skin. This healing cream feels beautifully fresh and alive on your face. It amazing for sensitive skin, I would definitely re-purchase at some point.
Antipodes Grapeseed Butter Cleanser* soothes and removes impurities from all skin types, with a sleek minimalist preparation of nourishing cocoa butter, soothing olive and harekeke oils to soften and calming lavender and blue chamomile for sensitive skin. I found it so oily and sticky, hard to remove with just water. It was nice to use as second cleanse, but otherwise I did not like it.
Philip Kingsley Scalp Toner as my scalps are really dry, they tend to also be itchy, the scalp toner done a great job at keeping my scalps calm. Soothing leave-in Scalp Toner with an anti-microbial and anti-flaking formula that provides immediate and long lasting relief from irritation. Will go back to it.
Grow Gorgeous Serum if you want longer hair, this serum is a must! Packs an extra punch for achieving visibly thicker and longer hair while actively targeting thinning hair. Gives your hair some serious care with this unique, advanced formula containing a complex blend of 7 technologies to help your hair appear visibly longer, thicker and fuller looking. Intensely formulated to encourage hair thickness. I already have another one, ready to use.

thursday wishlist #01

All girls love shopping, retail therapy is a must sometimes.  Currently I don't really need anything at the moment, but I would love to finally purchase a Camo Coat/Jacket, but I can't seem to find the perfect one. You can't never have enough sweaters, the River Island one looks so cool. My wardrobe needs a change, as I've been working out more I would love a new sport bra, the Adidas trainers look so cool too. Tom Ford Orchid Perfume is on my wishlist, it smells so good! You must give it a sniff.

Pretty underwear is my thing, although I no longer have any space in my draw for underwear I still want more. Typical girl I guess. What is on your wishlist at the moment?

january favourites 2017

January was just a trail month, February roll on! Just joking, can't believe how fast each month is going by since reaching my 20s. In January I've been in a urge to use up my current products, in order to purchase new one, I feel like I have an obsession on using up beauty products, it satisfy me so much when I mange to use a certain products up. There are two empties post coming up this month! Lets talk about my favorites.

Marc Jacobs Velvet Nior Volume Mascara this mascara does wonders to my lashes! On daily basic I would not reach for this mascara, as I prefer plastic wands. The lash-maximising, curvy brush places the most volume at the hard-to-reach centre lash line, and the defining tip styles lashes for major drama and it's such a true black. The mascara does not smudge, that the main issue I tend to get with most mascaras, that why I tend to avoid high end mascaras. If lot's of volume something that you like, you will fall in love with this mascara.

L'Oreal True Match Highlight this is my highlighting primer, if that makes sense. I use this under my brow bone and on the cheek bone and then I will top up with my regular powder highlighter. It's blends really easily and gives such a beautiful natural glow.

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector whenever I am in my car, I just like to apply something on my lips to keep them smooth and moisturised. A softly textured lip gel with a deliciously sweet scent. Lips are left looking soft, smooth, shiny and plump. Sheer, but has enough colour to wear alone or to complement your favourite lip shade.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Foil Mask such a high price for a single mask, but the skin looks amazing in the morning! So smooth and glowy, you literally would not need to wear foundation on the next day. High-performance foil-backed sheet mask creates a protective barrier, allowing our potent technologies to penetrate fast and deep within skin's surface and helping to lock in moisture.

MAC Pro Longwear Waterproof Foundation my going out foundation, it's a heavy foundation to use on daily basic, but on night outs it works perfectly! Waterproof formula that can be used as a foundation or concealer, wearing for an unprecedented 24 hours. Neither rain nor tears can budge this oil-free watertight product that actually repels moisture from the surface of the face. The formula blends seamlessly on the skin with medium to full weightless coverage and a natural satin finish.

MAC Extra Dimension Eye Shadow in Smokey Mauve a hybrid shadow that's smooth like a cream, blendable like a liquid and finishes like a powder. Looks so beautiful on the eye lid, it's very sparkly. Its creamy, silky, near-fluid formula creates luminous, well-defined eyes in finishes from sheer crystallized light to stunning metallic.

Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel at first I did not get on with this cleanser, but I decided to re-purchase the cleansing gel, my skin just loves the Vitamin Cleanser. Non-foaming cleanser that works to restore radiance and reveal enviably soft, supple skin, as it's non-foaming it does not dry out the skin. The gel-to-oil formula gently lifts makeup and impurities, cleansing deep into the pores whilst removing dead skin cells without irritation thanks to the restorative properties of vitamins C and E. Perfect for all skin types, the free-radical fighting formula helps improve the appearance of sun damage and increases collagen production for heightened elasticity.
