august haul: lilly lashes, stila, huda beauty

Haul time, although I must admit that over last month, I've been lusting over new beauty bits which are currently launching. I am currently obsessed with make-up palettes, can't wait to get my hands on Urban Decay Heat and Juvia's Place Masquerade both palette are literately perfect, sadly sold out everywhere!

Huda Beauty my current brand obsession. Bombshell is my first liquid lipstick from Huda Beauty and I am in love! It's does not leave your lips feeling uncomfortably dry. A perfect everyday nude. The lightweight formula glides on a thin coat of color that intensifies as it sets to a matte, transfer-free finish with amazing staying power.

Stila Glitter Metals are so beautiful! Who does not love glitter on their eyes? With a flat, fluffy applicator Magnificent Metals Glitter and Glow Liquid Eye Shadow glides effortlessly on to eyelids for a lightweight, long-lasting shimmer. With a water-infused blend of pearl and glitter, Stila have created the ultimate high impact glitter shadow without the weight, drying time or fallout.

Lilly Lashes are just stunning! Me and false lashes? If someone told me that I would love false eyelashes 2 years ago, I would just laugh in their face. Lilly Lashes Mykonos 3D Mink Lashes are ideal for those whose want to take their eye look to the next level. The unique design of interlacing 'V' shaped clusters creates seamlessly blended results with a flirty, full finish. They are expensive, but they last up to 20-40 wears, so worth the money in my opinion!

What have you been buying recently? Anything that is on your wishlist?

estee lauder idealist pore minimizing skin refinisher

Estee Lauder is an amazing brand, each products seems to work as described. On a whimp, I've picked up the Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher, it's a great product to try out if you have larger pores.

Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher is a fast-acting serum delivers most significant skin resurfacing benefits. Idealist improves the look of uneven skin texture, flakiness and roughness. Leaves your skin feeling really silky and smooth. Applying foundation on top of Idealist is so smooth, I would say it's also ideal for people who have dry skin. Does not have a scent.

How to Use: Apply on clean skin before your moisturiser.

Repurchase: No, purely because the products it self is really expensive and I don't really suffer with large pores.

Usage: Lasted around 9months with daily application.

Rating: 4.5/5

On BurningBlonde you will now only find reviews of used up products. Just so the review will be really honest. How do you like that idea? Blogger photo upload, seems to be ruing my photos quality.

Skytower, Wroclaw/Poland

Sky Tower is a beautiful apartment with a city view, great place to stay at whilst visiting Wroclaw, Poland. The apartment is located 20minutes drive from the airport, 5-10mintues drive from City Central.
Luxury One Bedroom Apartment, 32th Floor
The view from our bedroom and living room was just amazing! Waking up, was so much easier for once. Downstairs next to the Sky Tower apartments, you can find a small shopping center. With a large groceries store, drugstore, restaurants and other shops. I would definitely recommend getting your nails done at the Red To Kill
Dinette, located in Sky Tower Shopping Center and in City Center. They have a wide choice of breakfasts and lunches. The breakfast was actually really good, but sadly we had waited for almost an hour to receive our food, which was not ideal for two hangover hungry bears.
Niezly Dym, located near the City Center serves literately the best pizza I've tried in Wroclaw.  If you want traditional Polish Food Konspira is a place to visit! Bare in mind that the portion are large! The food is just amazing! We went back twice, whilst are 3day stay in Wroclaw. McDonald in Poland is also a good option, Wies Mac is a must!
Nanan for desserts! Nanan Patisserie serves the best looking desserts! I would definitely recommend popping in and eat in or a take away.
If you want a drinking night out, nothing crazy I would definitely recommend Papa Bar, they have over 70 cocktails. Pub Ogorek is just perfect for crazy shots, by the way McDonald's is round the corner so you can grab your food on your way back. Whiskey in The Jar great for Whiskey lovers. Pod Zlotym Dzbanem they serve the best beers!

Shopping wise, personally my favorite shopping centers were Renoma and Magnolia. Uber is a life saver in Poland. To get to the City Center from Sky Tower have cost us around 10PLN (£2/3). There are so many amazing food places to try, I would definitely go back! Have you been traveling lately?

Embryolisse Lisseur Bonne Mine and Eclat du Regard

For a while I have been testing out the two products from well known french skincare brand, Embryolisse. I am sure that all of you have heard of the Lait-Creme Concentre, such a amazing beauty product! More beauty products from Embryolisse are now available at Boots.

Embryolisse Lisseur Bonne Mine is such a great hydrating cream, but sadly my skin kept on breaking out whenever I had used it. In general its fast absorbing, amazing base for make-up. The revolutionary 4in1 formula does smooth out imperfection and makes the skin feels more firm as well as looks more illuminated and hydrated.

In association with hyaluronic acid, a moisturiser based on biotechnology that saturates the skin with water while redefining it, the oat extracted natural sugars leave a tensor and lifting film over the face, the skin is smoothed out. This gel lotion soaks the face with an ultra-fresh and stimulating sensation, it can be used every day as a booster care, before the makeup.

Embryolisse Eclat du Regard great product to use when you have puffy eyes! Has such an amazing cooling effect, I tend to use it just before my eye cream. The cooling stick has a smoothing radiance booster that reduces dark circles and puffiness, brightens eyes. I would definitely recommend the cooling stick.  Have you tested anything recently from Embryolisse?

february favourites

It's time for February favourites, these months are going way too fast. I am currently sticking back to basic, not buying anything new, as once again I am trying to use up everything that I currently own.

O.P.I Nail Envy I think this is my third Nail Envy, this product is just the bomb, whenever my nails need the extra oomph for growing. Strengthens your nails with wheat protein and calcium. It's a must have if you have weak nails.

Ole Henriksen Truth Facial Water helps to energise and reawaken tired skin. Spritizing on the face before my skincare rouitne, also I tend to top of my make-up with the this. Stimulating sweet orange and mandarin oils provide an invigorating scent and work as antioxidants to address visible signs of ageing, whilst the essence of green tea rejuvenates and helps to flush out toxins. Extract of pomegranate, a known super fruit, supports the appearance of a more even skin tone. Truth Facial Water is just amazing for the warmer months.

MAC Strobe Cream a moisturizer that boosts the look of dull skin and luminizes with iridescent particles. Mixing this with a matte foundation, gives you an amazing glowy finish, helps to enhances the effects of light on all skin in all lighting conditions.  Can also work as a highlighting base.

By Terry De Ombre Cream Eyeshadow in Frozen Quatrz this eyeshadow looks beautiful on the eyelid! Satin-smooth consistency glides over eyelids to create instant, crease-free definition. More colours need to be added to my collection, the Frozen Quatrz is beautiful to use in your inner-corners daily.

Sachajuan Ocean Mist mix between a hairspray and a salt water styling spray, this adds grip and texture to hold your style without looking too 'done'. Smells really nice on the hair, also I really like the fact that it does not stick my hair together. The beach hair look, without weighting your hair down. It's a must have!

What are you Februrary Favourites? Let me know what you have been loving in February.

products I regret buying + giveaway winner

Don't we all hate wasting money on beauty products which actually don't really work for us? I managed to purchase few beauty products, which are just not good enough for me.

The Body Shop Spa Fit bought this on a whimp in Body Shop Outlet. Although my cellulite is not that visible, I still tend to test out products, which helps to reduce the appearance of cellulite. The Body Shop Spa Fit had an interesting massaging head and scent. Whilst in shower, you should apply some of the cream onto your tights and use the massaging head. Sadly straight after using this, I kept on having really red tight, even with out using the massaging head, guess my skin didn't tolerate one of the ingredient.
Max Factor Miracle Touch Foundation a unique lightweight solid to liquid formula, it's has light to medium coverage.  This foundation have looked amazing on my friend skin, sadly it did not work for me! It did not last long on the skin, the shade was perfect.
Topshop Highlighter light reflecting cream highlighter to sculpt, define and enhance the skin. I loved it swatch on the hand, as it was really glowy, but once you apply it on your face, the entire glow disappears.
NYX Lingerie Liquid Lipstick a matte liquid lipsticks. Sadly it dries out my lips so badly! The shade is beautiful, but the formula is extremely drying.
Origins Smoothing Body Oil sold for the scent, sadly the scent does not last longer than an hour on the skin, but it does keep your skin moisturised. Contains non-oily Jojoba Oil, know for its hydrating and skin-softening benefits. Great for exposed legs, back and shoulders.
GlamGlow Dual Cleanse Treatment a mud-to-oil formula that delivers a deep pore cleansing action without over-drying or uncomfortable tightness. Personally I don't get on with Glam Glow facial masks, they give my skin very uncomfortable feeling.  It did not do anything good to my skin,

Thank you so much for all the giveaway entries, the winner is Claire Blaney, congratulation!

empties: february 2017

Do you also feel satisfied whenever you finish up a beauty product? I tend to feel so excited every time I use something up, purely because I then can buy something new to try out. Let's get on with the post.

Sukin Cleansing Gel blended with a complexion-boosting mix of green tea, soothing chamomile, cucumber and avocado oil, the Sukin Sensitive Cleansing Gel perfectly purifies and cleanses sensitive skin. Sadly this cleanser was really drying, it is gentle, but drying. The cleansing gel does remove make-up really well, although I would not recommend using it near the eyes.

No7 Make-Up Brush Cleanser This product is a quick fix when you don't have time to soak your brushes. Spray a paper towel or tissue with cleanser before sweeping brush bristles across the damp cloth. It's quick fix for brush cleansing.
Toni & Guy Volume Dry Shampoo the oil absorbing formula helps boost volume from root to tip for over the top hairstyles. Smells really nice, and gives the hair lots of volume.
Glam Glow Dual Cleanse Treatment a mud-to-oil formula that delivers a deep pore cleansing action without over-drying or uncomfortable tightness. Personally I don't get on with Glam Glow facial masks, they give my skin very uncomfortable feeling.  They are also so expensive!
Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream* a light but intensive hydrating cream ideal for normal to dry skin. This healing cream feels beautifully fresh and alive on your face. It amazing for sensitive skin, I would definitely re-purchase at some point.
Antipodes Grapeseed Butter Cleanser* soothes and removes impurities from all skin types, with a sleek minimalist preparation of nourishing cocoa butter, soothing olive and harekeke oils to soften and calming lavender and blue chamomile for sensitive skin. I found it so oily and sticky, hard to remove with just water. It was nice to use as second cleanse, but otherwise I did not like it.
Philip Kingsley Scalp Toner as my scalps are really dry, they tend to also be itchy, the scalp toner done a great job at keeping my scalps calm. Soothing leave-in Scalp Toner with an anti-microbial and anti-flaking formula that provides immediate and long lasting relief from irritation. Will go back to it.
Grow Gorgeous Serum if you want longer hair, this serum is a must! Packs an extra punch for achieving visibly thicker and longer hair while actively targeting thinning hair. Gives your hair some serious care with this unique, advanced formula containing a complex blend of 7 technologies to help your hair appear visibly longer, thicker and fuller looking. Intensely formulated to encourage hair thickness. I already have another one, ready to use.

thursday wishlist #01

All girls love shopping, retail therapy is a must sometimes.  Currently I don't really need anything at the moment, but I would love to finally purchase a Camo Coat/Jacket, but I can't seem to find the perfect one. You can't never have enough sweaters, the River Island one looks so cool. My wardrobe needs a change, as I've been working out more I would love a new sport bra, the Adidas trainers look so cool too. Tom Ford Orchid Perfume is on my wishlist, it smells so good! You must give it a sniff.

Pretty underwear is my thing, although I no longer have any space in my draw for underwear I still want more. Typical girl I guess. What is on your wishlist at the moment?

january favourites 2017

January was just a trail month, February roll on! Just joking, can't believe how fast each month is going by since reaching my 20s. In January I've been in a urge to use up my current products, in order to purchase new one, I feel like I have an obsession on using up beauty products, it satisfy me so much when I mange to use a certain products up. There are two empties post coming up this month! Lets talk about my favorites.

Marc Jacobs Velvet Nior Volume Mascara this mascara does wonders to my lashes! On daily basic I would not reach for this mascara, as I prefer plastic wands. The lash-maximising, curvy brush places the most volume at the hard-to-reach centre lash line, and the defining tip styles lashes for major drama and it's such a true black. The mascara does not smudge, that the main issue I tend to get with most mascaras, that why I tend to avoid high end mascaras. If lot's of volume something that you like, you will fall in love with this mascara.

L'Oreal True Match Highlight this is my highlighting primer, if that makes sense. I use this under my brow bone and on the cheek bone and then I will top up with my regular powder highlighter. It's blends really easily and gives such a beautiful natural glow.

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector whenever I am in my car, I just like to apply something on my lips to keep them smooth and moisturised. A softly textured lip gel with a deliciously sweet scent. Lips are left looking soft, smooth, shiny and plump. Sheer, but has enough colour to wear alone or to complement your favourite lip shade.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Foil Mask such a high price for a single mask, but the skin looks amazing in the morning! So smooth and glowy, you literally would not need to wear foundation on the next day. High-performance foil-backed sheet mask creates a protective barrier, allowing our potent technologies to penetrate fast and deep within skin's surface and helping to lock in moisture.

MAC Pro Longwear Waterproof Foundation my going out foundation, it's a heavy foundation to use on daily basic, but on night outs it works perfectly! Waterproof formula that can be used as a foundation or concealer, wearing for an unprecedented 24 hours. Neither rain nor tears can budge this oil-free watertight product that actually repels moisture from the surface of the face. The formula blends seamlessly on the skin with medium to full weightless coverage and a natural satin finish.

MAC Extra Dimension Eye Shadow in Smokey Mauve a hybrid shadow that's smooth like a cream, blendable like a liquid and finishes like a powder. Looks so beautiful on the eye lid, it's very sparkly. Its creamy, silky, near-fluid formula creates luminous, well-defined eyes in finishes from sheer crystallized light to stunning metallic.

Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel at first I did not get on with this cleanser, but I decided to re-purchase the cleansing gel, my skin just loves the Vitamin Cleanser. Non-foaming cleanser that works to restore radiance and reveal enviably soft, supple skin, as it's non-foaming it does not dry out the skin. The gel-to-oil formula gently lifts makeup and impurities, cleansing deep into the pores whilst removing dead skin cells without irritation thanks to the restorative properties of vitamins C and E. Perfect for all skin types, the free-radical fighting formula helps improve the appearance of sun damage and increases collagen production for heightened elasticity.

antipodes joyful and rejoice review

Antipodes will forever be one of my favorite brand. Personally I really enjoy using Antipodes skincare. Antipodes is a New Zealand brand, widely available in UK. The Joyful and Rejoice both contain Avocado Oil. Avocado oil is a nutrient-packed superfood that provides a multitude of benefits. It is packed with Vitamins A, B1, B2, and D - plus the powerhouse antioxidants Vitamin E and chlorophyll, which help reduce skin damage and unwanted ageing. These antioxidants work together to collect and neutralise free radicals, highly reactive molecules and unstable compounds that can destroy skin cells and DNA.

The Antipodes Joyful Hand and Body Cream just smells incredible. The cream contains Avocado Oil, Wild Blackcurrant Berry and South Pacific Hibiscus Bloom, guess this combination makes it smell so good. I tend to use Joyful as my hand cream, as it keeps my hands moisturised, what I like the most about the cream, is that it does not leave my hands feeling sticky. My hands just tend to drink up the product.  If you use it on your body, your skin will be brightened and toned by the inclusion of hibiscus flower extract, which acts as an exfoliator for dead cells, freshening and plumping skin and locking in moisture. Blackcurrant berry oil, packed full of vitamins C and E, purifies skin by absorbing and neutralising free radical damage.

Antipodes Rejoice Light Facial Day Cream is a light and non-oily facial day cream that enhances skin's natural hydration. All organic ingredients of manuka honey, sweet almond and avocado oil combine with macadamia and jojoba to balance and moisturise. Manuka flower oil has antibacterial, healing and protective properties that benefit the skin and the extraordinary collagen boosting powers of avocado oil soften and regenerate. My skin gets on so well with the Light Facial Day Cream. Skin seems to be drinking it up really quickly, skin is left feeling moisturised. Luckily it does not break me out, you can wear it under your foundation. For my night cream I still reach for the Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream packed with powerful botanical extracts to deeply nourish the skin.

Have you tried any of the Antipodes products before? If yes, what is your favorite beauty product?

brows: anastasia beverly hills products

We all know how important brows are, brows help to define our entire face. Personally I like soft, but thick brows. As my hair are naturally blonde, you can guess that my brows are quite fair, but luckily they are thick! My brows filling depends from what kind of look I would like achieve and how much time I have to actually do my make-up.
