favourite eye brushes/ eye brushes guide

Picking the right brushes can be really tricky, I been building my collection for over 5 years now. There are some brushes still missing in my collection, mostly when it comes to eye make-up, as I just don't have enough. Zoeva Rose Gold Eye Set I am watching you. Personally I love wearing eyeshadow, glitter all over or sometimes I just feel like a good matte eye lid. I own brushes from various companies, my favourite so far is MAC and Sigma. You can also see how much I adore Sigma brushes, pretty much everything have rubbed off.

Sigma Medium Angled Shading E70: Amazing brush for applying glittery eyeshadow all over the base, reaches the corner of the eye really well. I haven't had any hair fall out, the brush is very soft. After 5 years still looks/feels perfect. Would definitely recommend Sigma brushes.
Sigma Large Shader E60: Another brush which I tent to use all over the lid.
MAC 235: I bought this brush in Bicester Village, it's a split fibre brush. Its signature blend of goat hair and synthetic fibres. Really soft and again great for applying eyeshadow all over the lid. Whenever I use it, I barely get any eyeshadow fall out.
MAC 219: Amazing for applying glitter or brightening eyeshadow in the corners of the eyes. I really do need to get myself another one, as I tend to apply eyeshadow under the lower lash line.
MAC 217: Wish I've bought this brush earlier, such a great eyeshadow blending brush! I always use it in my crease, to blend out darker eyeshadow. The brush is really soft.
Urban Decay Crease Brush: Urban Decay has it game really strong, the brushes are amazing quality! The brush have been designed to use in the crease and that where I love to use it too. The brush is very gentle and soft.

It's worth to invest in your brushes, as they will last you forever when you take good care of them. I will soon do a full post on how I take care of my brushes.

urban decay naked 2 basic palette

URBAN DECAY NAKED 2 BASIC PALETTE*

Such a lovely gift I received from my friend, she knows me too well. I been talking about planning to buy myself the Naked 2 Basic as I love the original Basic. This is such a little compact palette, but the content is just the bomb!

The palette comes with one satin and five matte shadows. As you may or may not know I am a lover of neutral eyeshadows palettes. I like the fact that there are more tones of browns, Primal is a medium matte brown with yellow tones, great shadow for filling in my eyebrows. Skimp is beautiful all over the lid colour. I really love that there is a variety of matte brown shadows as I feel like not many palettes have a variety of matte shadows. To be honest I feel like this palette is a lot more practical than the first Naked Basic. Great to take with yourself whenever you are planning to travel, as the packaging is very small. All eyeshadows are well pigmented, whilst using Undone I realised that it does tend to have some fall out. I would definitely recommend this palette to people who likes to keep they eye make-up minimal.

products I regret buying #3

SOAP AND GLORY PURIFYING FACIAL WIPES, STYLFILE BY TOM PELLEREAU, URBAN DECAY NAKED 3, MODELS OWN GLITTERY NAIL POLISH, CAUDALIE POLYPHENOL ANTI-WRINKLE PROTECT FLUID, MAYBELLINE GREAT LASH MASCARA

Trying out new products doesn't always mean that something will be amazing or work for you. When I first planned to write this post, I haven't expected to find so many product in my collection, which didn't really work for me.

Soap and Glory Purifying Facial Wipes: I really didn't get on with this wipes, they burn my face whenever I use them, the scent is unpleasant. To use them up I just wipe my dressing table and dirty make-up. Have any of you tried them?
Styfile By Tom Pellereau: What was I thinking when I bought this? Such a unpractical nail file. There may be people who love it, but I don't like it at all.
Urban Decay Naked 3: As much as I love my Naked 1&3 palette I am not giving much love to Naked 2, there are around 3 shadows which I really like and that's pretty much it. At first I always thought that I love it, just because it was an Urban Decay product.
Models Own Glittery Nail Polish: Not sure what have happened to me, but I started to dislike glittery nail polish, mostly these two from Models Own, I like suitable glitter on my nails, but not when it's so chunky.
Caudalie Polyphenol Anti-Wrinkle Protect Fluid: I thought I was buying an eye cream, but somehow I ended up with a anti-wrinkle face cream, whenever I use it my skin goes very bumpy underneath. I don't feel like it does hydrate my skin enough, as my skin feels really dry afterwards. I do like Caudalie products, but this cream just didn't work for me.
Maybelline Great Lash Mascara: The worst mascara I have ever used! I pretty much like most Maybelline mascaras, but this little brush just didn't do it for me.

embryolisse lait-creme concentre

EMBRYOLISSE LAIT-CREME CONCENTRE

As my skin have been playing around with me lately, I decided to switch up my skincare routine. My skin during the colder months tends to get drier around my nose area, chin and forehead. The Embryolisse Lait Creme was on my wishlist for a while, so many beauty blogger have spoke about it, so I thought it's a must have too!

The cream is enriched with essential fatty acids and vitamins, this helps to moisturise your skin, the cream itself is very lightweight on the skin. Absorbs really quickly, I love to put a thick layer on before going to bed, and lighter layer in the morning, works well under make-up too! Apparently it's also a multitask product, it can be used to cleanse the skin or remove make-up, as a repairing mask, an after-shave cream or as a baby-care product. I never tried to remove my make-up with it, but I do tend to use it on my elbows or any dry areas on my body. My skin does like it, but recently I decided to look up the ingredients list, and it isn't that great. Not really worth the money, considering the ingredient list, but on the other hand it does work! I am slightly teared up at this point, as my skin gets on with the cream really well, but 75ml costs around £20, not going to lie, it's not cheap. I guess once I will use it up, I will just try out something else, as I don't want to pack my skin with Paraffin. I am not saying it's a bad product at all, because the cream itself does add moisture to my skin, doesn't break me out. My seems to like the Embryolisse Cream, otherwise I wouldn't be using it.

This is such a mixed feeling review, lets get the points straight I do like the product, but not a fan of the ingredients, as well as the price. Have you tried it?

things I want #50

I haven't done a wishlist in a while, I've few things on my mind lately. Currently I am good with money as I am trying to save up for a MacBook Pro, hopefully I will be able to buy it in March! Wish me luck.
Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara - I been lusting after a new mascara, so many bloggers have spoken about this Tarte one and I would love to try it out. Wonder if it's actually as good as they say.
Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher - The Idealist seems like a dream! Will be picking it up once I am in Bicester Village this month. I really hope it will get my skin to a decent state.
YSL Medium Cabas Monogram Bag - A girl can dream! Okay I will never spend so much money on a car, but this bag will be forever in my dreams! It's so beautiful! I love classic black bags, after buying my Prada I don't think I will be spending so much money on a bag. Maybe a Mulberry once they will have their January sales, we'll see.
Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm - So many positive opinions about this cleanser, I am really wanting to try it out, once I will use up my other cleanser, I will definitely give this a go!
YES Gold Earrings - Gold earrings are my new addition to a wishlist! Would love to get real gold earrings, these are designed by a Polish brand, not going to lie, I do actually prefer to buy my jewelery in Poland, not because it's cheaper(to be honest it's similar price) but I feel like the quality is a lot more better. That just my opinion.

Hope you enjoyed my rather expensive wishlist, I promise that next time I will aim for less pricier wishlist. What are you currently lusting after?

january favourites

To be  honest I am really happy that January is finally over, January for me is a month of paying back the tax. So it's pretty drain month after the Christmas spending. I can't wait till it will get a lot more warmer, I am really disliking the cold weather. Let's get on with this months favourites.

Telescopic Mascara - This is my favourite mascara of all the time! The wand is plastic and very small, but it separates the lashes so well. Adds lots of length and when you layer it you will achieve volume too. I also like it because it doesn't smudge, not sure why but I been getting a lot of smudging from other mascaras.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Primer - I received this in my Cult Beauty Goodie Bag, and I recently have started using it. Never heard of a brow primer before, but my oh my this product is just amazing! I love to use it whenever I am using powder product to fill in my eye brows. Once you use the Primer, you won't need to apply any gel to set up your brows. The Brow Primer is a wax basically, normally I would apply a wax once my brows are done, but this is really interesting product and worth trying out!
MAC Paints in Bare Canvas - Great product to use under eyeshadow base, make the eyeshadow last longer, as well as eyeshadow pigmentation is a lot more stronger in my opinion. Bare Canvas looks like a concealer, so it does even out the skin tone on your eyelids.
Molecule 01 Perfume - Ohh! This just smells incredible! Apparently this perfume smells different on everyone, and you can't smell it on yourself, but I can smell it off myself. I have no clue how to describe the scent to you. It is expensive one, but so worth the money.
Pantene Leave-In Conditioner - I been enjoying spraying this on my hair anytime I want to make them look more smoother or when I am about to brush my hair. Smells really nice and keeps the frizz tamed.
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Light Medium - Once I used up my beloved Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder, I finally got into using the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish. Why didn't I get it earlier?! Looks so lovely on the skin, I love the variety of shades it comes in. Does mattify the skin, keeps your skin shine free, is also amazing to blend out bronzer or blusher is you accidentally apply too much.
Vagabond Grace Boots - My new babies! I am amazed by them, super comfortable, very lightweight. I got mine from Urban Outfitters, can't wait to get my hands on the Vagabond Chelsea Boots. Guess a Girl can't have enough pairs of black boots.
