my ipad air

I was planning to buy an iPad for so long, I decided to go for the iPad Air, it's so much lighter than the normal iPad. I was thinking about the iPad mini but it's just way to small for my liking. I mostly use my iPad for blog reading, Bloglovin my favorite app. Catching up on Youtube videos and reading magazines! I tend to use my laptop a lot less since I've bought the iPad.

I want to take care and keep it scratch less, so I wanted a full case, the Targus Classic Case is just great! As it protects the front as well as the back. I like the classic black colour. I am all about white and black at the moment. I would love to do a blogpost on all of my apps, but I don't really have a lot. That Kim Kardashian game is so addictive, the only thing I been playing recently.

Little update: Last week I had my operation, and I been on very strong pills, which kept me asleep pretty much all of  the time. I am slowly getting back on track with everything. I hope my throat will heal up asap! As I am so hungry, the pain makes eating so difficult. Hope you had lovely Bank Holiday weekend.

jo malone haul

JO MALONE EARL GREY & CUCUMBER PERFUME £82, JO MALONE LIME BASIL AND MANDARIN BODY CREME £50
My first ever Jo Malone experience! Okay, you know when you go to the stand and just want to sniff the products, then the sell lady comes over and she samples the products on you. Then if you won't buy something you will feel guilty, why are they so effective?! At the till my jaw just dropped, but I stilled smiled, while passing my card.

While back I went to check out the perfumes with my mum, we both really liked the scent of Lime Basil and Mandarin, but I didn't really needed two perfumes, so I had picked up the body creme. The smell is just incredible! Last on the skin so long, until you take next shower and wash it off. It's very rich and moisturising, luckily not sticky! I hardly ever future perfume on my blogs, as I find them really difficult to describe, perfumes are very personal subject in my opinion. Everyone likes different scent, I personally love Earl Grey combined with Cucumber, such a nice fresh scent for warmer months. One thing that I feel like I won't justify is spending so much money on a candle, the idea of "burning money" makes me feel bad! I am not judging anyone who is doing it, I hope you won't get offended, that is just my personal opinion.

best foundation brush?!

It's not really a foundation routine post, as I pretty much use a different foundation every other day, depends what my mood is like, anyway I am a foundationholic. I love having a good base and nice healthy skin, well who doesn't?

I am curenttly in love hate relationship with YSL Youth Liberator foundation, some days I am amazed by it, but on others I am not liking it at all. The foundation is not very long lasting in my opinion, within two hours, it will disappear from my T-Zone, not so great for combination skin I guess. The coverage is light to medium, depends what you apply it with. When you apply it with fingers you will get a very lovely coverage, with Real Techniques sponge you will achieve medium coverage, by brush the coverage is pretty much light, but buildable. Okay, so this damaged have been done by Vivianna, this brush is just amazing!!! She been raving about for so long, and I finally bought it and yep, I love it! It's so soft and delicate. I actually didn't expected for it to be this lovely. Have any of you had a chance to already try it out? Recetnly I kept on using my fingers to apply foundations, as I liked the amount of coverage I been receiving with every foundation. What's your favourite way to apply foundation?

la roche-posay micellar solution

LA ROCHE-POSAY PHYSIOLOGICAL MICELLAR SOLUTION £12
Micellar cleansing waters are very popular at the moment, so many different brands are coming up with a micellar water, but not all are as amazing as the brand claims. As my beloved Bioderma have run out, I just wanted to try out something that is more available. I been on a hunt for something that will be as good as Bioderma. I tried the Vichy Micellar Water, the Garnier Micellar water, but they all are an average to me.

The La Roche-Posay Physiological Micellar Solution is a nice product to use, but I don't feel like it's good enough. You must work with a lot more longer, to get every bit of mascara off and the next morning you will still wake-up with bits off mascara left. It's great for cleansing your facial make-up, but not so great with removing eye make-up. It also has a scent to it, so it's slightly painful when you accidentally get it inside your eye. Overall it's a nice product to use, I mostly like to use it after a cleansing balm, just to get rid of the make-up, which haven't been removed by the cleansing balm. You know that extra cleanse, just to make sure your skin is well cleansed before bed time. Again my winner is Bioderma and I just can't wait to get my hands on it again for the 5th time. Which Micellar Water is your favourite?

things i've used up #9

JOHN FRIEDA FRIZZ-EASE HEAT PROTECTION SPRAY, TRESEMME VOLUMISING DRY SHAMPOO, GARNIER MOISTURISING BODY OIL, MAYBELLINE ROCKET MASCARA, HYDRALURON SERUM, ANTIPODES JULIET GEL CLEANSER*, BOURJOIS EYELINER, NIP+FAB DRY LEG FIX, CLARINS BODY LIFT CELLULITE CONTROL LOTION, SIGMA F70 BRUSH, THE BODY SHOP VITAMIN E BODY BUTTER, RIMMEL WAKE ME UP FOUNDATION, AVENE CLEANSE TONER
I think I am on some using up wimp. So many products I had recently used up, the bathroom is getting so empty, not to mention my skincare products. Why does every skincare product has to run out at the same time? I am planning to do empties post once a month, as I think it will be a lot more easier for myself, so there won't always be as many products, as it's quite difficult to cover everything in one post. Unless you like long posts.

I think I may had grown a little obsession on haircare products, I personally really enjoy using John Fredia Frizz-Ease products, the Heat Protection Spray was so lovely to use, really lightweight and smells so lovely! It's takes forever to use one up, bare that in mind. Tresemme Dry Shampoo is one of my favourite, I always tend to go back to it, just works with my hair so well! Garnier Moistursing Body Oil, do you really want me to start again on how much I dislike this product? Maybelline Rocket Mascara this was a lovely one to use, but it's nothing amazing. Hydraluron Serum, I really still don't have an opinion on this, I didn't really notice any difference to my skin while I was using this. Antipodes Juliett Cleanser* this is such a great cleanser, I will definitely go back to using it soon. Bourjois Eyeliner the felt tip was way too big for my liking, I found it difficult to apply. It's also dried out really fast, not worth the money. Nip+Fab Dry Leg Fix never again! The worst smelling product ever, did the job, but I just can't stand the smell! Clarins Body Lift Cellulite Control Lotion, the best product ever, as long as you exercise while using it, it will definitely make your cellulite less visible.  Sigma F70 Brush, sadly the hair from my brush had fallen out, will be missed! As this been my favourite foundation brush. The Body Shop Vitamin E Body Butter, I love body butters, this one smelled so lovely! Will go back to using it during winter time. Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation this is such a lovely foundation, at the moment I just own too many foundations and I don't feel like this one is a must for now. I personally do like using Toners, the Avene Cleansence Toner worked okay. Apparently it's mattyfing, it is for a while, it didn't dry out my skin, but again it's not something I really need to use again.

wardrobe tips and tricks

Don't we all love to have nicely organised clothes? I am a shopaholic, yes I admit it, recently I decided to change my tactic a bit, I would love to share with you my tips and tricks. Before I used to buy less practical items of clothing and never ever worn them.

Now I tend to buy things that I will definitely wear and I tend not to get rid off my tags, until I wear something. If I don't wear the clothing within a month, I will return it. What the point of wasting money? You can always return or exchange, but make sure you check how much time to return you have on your receipt. Some shops very from 14 to 28 days, so keep an eye on that. Try to calculate if an item is defiantly worth a hefty price tag, is the quality worth the money? Do you really need another shirt in the same colour? This are the questions that I always have in my head before buying something. Always make sure you try something on before buying, I know, I know, it's boring and we all are lazy about it, but trust me this must be done. I am a person who hates trying on things, I am so bad that I will bring the clothes home (well of course I will pay for them first) and then I will try everything on, then I will need another trip to return certain items. What a time waste.

How to maintain your wardrobe space? Every 2 months I tend to clear out my wardrobe and take everything out and re-organise it. And I make 3 piles, to keep, put away (e.g winter clothes in summer) and sell. Be strict, haven't worn yet? Trust me sweetheart you won't, sell it or pass it on. Don't just keep things you won't ever wear, because you have spend money on them. Depop is a great quick and easy app to use, I will be selling lots of my clothing in few days, so make sure you are following me, here. Winter clothing takes up so much space, just put them away during hotter months. The Vacuum Storage Bags are so amazing, everything will take up so much less space, they are also handy for traveling.

My favourite shops: H&M, River Island, Topshop, Miss Selfridges. These are the shops, where I shop the most. My wardrobe is created by the stores mentioned above. What about yours? Anything you been after recently? Any tips you have for me?

july favourites

L'OREAL EYE-LIP MAKE-UP REMOVER, PHYTO DEEP CLEANSING SHAMPOO, TRESEMME HEAT PROTECTION SPRAY, JO MALONE LIME BASIL & MANDARIN BODY CREME
August is one of my favourite lazy, but hopefully productive month. On the 19th I am going to the hospital to get my tonsils removed, hopefully I will get some time off my job. This will mean more time to blog!

I been trying so many new eye products, the Benefit They're Real Eyeliner is such a pain to remove, so I reached for the reliable product, L'Oreal Eye & Lip make-up remover, this is just amazing! It's one of those of product I can truly trust, it always been my Mum favourite! I remember when the packaging used to be different, but the formula didn't change at all, still works really well. The Phyto Deep Cleansing Shampoo is one of my favourite to use once every two weeks. My scalps get on with it really well, that's the main reason I like it so much, smells so fresh too. Most TRESemme products are hit or miss for me. I been really loving the TRESemme Heat Protection Spray, it doesn't leave my hair feeling sticky, like the other TRESemme heat sprays(the black packaging one). It's very light weight on the hair, doesn't weight them down. I am very much new to the Jo Malone products, they do smell incredible, but the price tag is so hefty! The Lime Basil & Mandarin is such a beautiful scent for the hot months! Last on the skin for so long, I got few compliments while I was "wearing" it on my skin. I am so temped to buy the candle, but I am not a kind of person who is willing to spend so much money on a candle. Prefer to invest in over things. Do you have any scent recommendation for me from Jo Malone, that I really need to try out?

Just a quick message this month I am blogging everyday from Monday to Friday.
