pureology essential repair shampoo & conditioner

I never been really fussy with hair care, I just tend to take more care when picking up a new shampoo, just because of my sensitive scalps. I saw few reviews on Pureology and most opinions have been very positive, oh those bad bloggers that just make me wanna buy more beauty products. My wishlist became never ending.

Pureology Essential Repair Combo is as good as they say. The range is aimed for colour treated hair,  I have ombre hair and I have never dyed my hair fully. To be honest not many shampoos and conditioners tend to tame my frizz, this combo have always left my hair feeling really smooth and almost frizz less and I say almost just because my frizzy hair are impossible to take control off. If you have any recommendation what could help me out, please let me know. The texture of the Shampoo was very thick and the lather was very rich. The shampoo didn't weight down my hair, my scalps also really liked the shampoo. The conditioner have added that extra five cents, straight during applying it, I could feel that my hair are becoming a lot more smoother.  The smell of both products is very much like coconut mixed with jasmine, the smell lasted on the hair for around two days, I am really impressed. Whenever I washed my hair with Pureology Essentials Repair combo they always have been a lot more easier to control, as well as to style.

Both of the products are pretty pricey, but I think they are just worth every penny! I want to try out more Pureology stuff, any recommendation?

giveaway: chanel le volume de chanel mascara

CHANEL LE VOLUME DE CHANEL MASCARA
Yesterday I have mention that I am planning to host a giveaway on my blog. I been planning to do one forever and it's finally happening. In January my blog have turned 3! That's so amazing, well I had a really bad 2013 and been pretty much absent most of the time. So sorry for that, I am slowly getting back into posting more often. By this giveaway I just want to thank you for supporting my blog, it's means so much to me. You can check out my review of the Chanel Le Volume De Chanel Mascara here. This giveway must suggest that I actually really love the mascara. I also want one lucky reader to try it out too. Of course you will receive a new one, I will purchase it with my own money! So this giveaway isn't sponsored in anyway. By entering this giveaway you are agreeing to email me you home address if you win. Good luck!

chanel le volume de chanel mascara

I love volume and lengthening mascara, well who doesn't? My lashes are very light, so you can't really see them until I put on mascara. They are pretty straight, so I need to curl them before actually doing anything to them. On daily basic I always tend to use two mascaras at the same time, normally one with smaller brush to keep the lashes separated.

Chanel Le Volume De Chanel Mascara is one of my favorite mascaras, I just love how much length it adds to my short lashes, as well as volume once you apply second layer. On the photo above I am only wearing one layer and the effect is just amazing! The mascara doesn't clump the lashes together, the formula is slightly wet, but it's easy to apply. I tend to apply around 3 layers. I am currently on my second tube, I don't really tend to repurchase high end mascara, unless they give me an amazing effect! So this must show how much I love it. I like to use Le Volume Mascara together with L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara. Wish there was a waterproof version, as when it's gets warmer my lashes tend to smudge on my eye lids, not a good look, other than that it doesn't normally smudge. The brush is plastic, the bristles are really short, but they do wonders to the lashes I have no idea how that happens, but I am not going to complain. I also like the sleek packaging.

Check out my blog tomorrow, as you may have a chance to win this lovely mascara. Hopefully you will love it as much as I do.  Have any of you had a chance to to already try out this mascara?

mac brushes

MAC BRUSHES (L-R) #219, #266, #130, #109

I finally done it! I wanted to try out MAC brushes for so long and I finally decided to splurge on 4 brushes for a start and now I can't wait to buy more. The price tag is so hefty, but definitely worth the money, well I can only comment on the brushes I own so far. The brushes I already own are from Sigma, Sephora, Real Techniques.

MAC #219 is a pencil brush, I love to use it to apply white eyeshadow in the inner corners of my eyes. You can also use it on lower lash line, to apply eyeshadow or blend it out. It's really soft.
MAC #266 I just wanted a new sharp brow brush, as the brushes I own weren't as good as I expected. This brush is just amazing for my brows, it's gives them the sharp look I wanted, I know that MAC also have slightly smaller brush, which you can also use for brows, but the MAC make-up artist recommend the #266 brush, so I went for it.
MAC #130 I love duo brushes, they are great for applying bronzer, blusher and even foundation! This is my smallest duo brush, it's just amazing. I tried to use for applying foundation and it's works so well. I also like to use it for applying highlighter.
MAC #109 The softest bronzer brush I own, this is my favourite size of a brush to apply bronzer, so I just don't over apply it.

I am really happy with my four brushes, so far they are really good. Although, Sigma is very similar brand, based in the States, the brushes are also good quality and cheaper.

february favourites

SLEEK BROW KIT in LIGHT, MAC PIGMENT in VANILLA, PHILIP KINGSLEY ELASTICIZER, ANTIPODES AURA MANUKA HONEY MASK*, L'OREAL TRUE MATCH FOUNDATION in ROSE

Another month passed by really quick, anyway February is the shortest month, so I can't really complain. This month have been all about using up old products and trying out new bits. My next empties post will be really overload with things I manged to used up.

I have few brow kits and so far this is my favorite one, Sleek Brow Kit comes with two shades, one is a normal shadow and the other one is a waxy colour. I personally love the waxy colour more, as it's keeps the brows in place for the whole day. The MAC Vanilla pigment is so beautiful on the eyes! I actually started wearing it all over the lid, during the day. I just love the way it's makes my face look more awake, as well as it's makes my eyes appear more brighter. Why can't my hair be nice and smooth? Philip Kingsley Elasticizer is my life saver, normally my hair texture is really frizzy and this just helps me to smooth everything down. I normally apply it hour before washing my hair, depends how much spare time I have, then I just rinse it off and do my shampoo routine as normal. I also started to use Coconut Oil on my hair once a week, this is helping too. Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask* been amazing for my recent skin condition, my skin wasn't as good as it's normally is, but the Honey Mask have helped me a lot. Although I love the mask itself, I just don't get along with the smell. I keep it on my face for around 15min, I normally like to apply it just before going to bed, so in the morning the redness is a lot less noticeable. L'Oreal True Match Foundation is the best drugstore foundation I had used so far! The colour match is just perfect, and I love the dewy finish, blends so beautifully.
